CORESTATE Bank advises on an acquisition financing for a mixed-use project development in Berlin with a total volume of EUR 85 million

The financing is used for the acquisition of a plot of approx. 5,000m² in Berlin-Mitte on the border to Kreuzberg. The developer takes over the project with a positive preliminary building permit and an almost finalized building application planning.

The development contains the creation of a mixed-use building complex with an above-ground GFA of around 18,100m². This will provide approximately 13,600m² of leasable office space and twelve residential units, which will be complemented by 34 underground parking spaces.

The 18-month secured financing bridges the period until the planning and pre-letting activities are finalized and will be refinanced through a building construction loan.
